OUTDOOR EXCITEMENT IN GENESEE TOUR |
||
|
Take Route 63 north,
and turn left on Casey Road to the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge.
Observe nature at its best! Visit the headquarters lodge or step into
nature and walk through the Refuge's structured trails. Witness the
arrival of Canadian Geese from March to April and the fall migration
from mid-September to October. Over 20,000 people attend the hatching
in late April of the endangered bald eagles. |
Dine in one of
our fine restaurants or enjoy dinner and a night at the races at Batavia
Downs Race Track and Exhibition Center, the oldest pari-mutuel nighttime
harness track in North America. Relax in the elegant clubhouse, and
enjoy a great view of the live racing (August 5 - November 30). Simulcasting
continues year-round in the Niatross Room. Return to your hotel for
a restful evening. |
